Part IV Law Student Commits Suicide in OAU!

Authorities of the Obafemi Awolowo University are trying to unravel the puzzle as to what could have prompted Oladipo Olalekan to take his own life. Olalekan, a 4th year student in the Faculty of Law reportedly left a note in his room before going ahead to terminate his life on Sunday evening.

The deceased was found dead in his room outside the campus and while his corpse has been taken to the morgue, his colleagues are at a loss. One of them told Street Journal that “we have not seen the note. We were not allowed to read it.”  One of them also stated that if he had been staying on campus, it would have been very difficult for him to have committed suicide as he would easily have been discovered.

Efforts to reach the institution’s Dean of Students, Mrs Durosinmi proved futile as of the time of filing this report.
