Chris Brown Sued for $3 Million After Frank Ocean Brawl

We just hope they are not going to end up wrecking Chris Brown's career because he's just getting in and out of trouble these days.
Well, the update about Chris Brown’s situation is that he's getting sued  for $3 million after he had an open confrontation with fellow singer, Frank Ocean.

According to TimesLive, Singer Frank Ocean's cousin, Sha'Keir Duarte, is suing Chris Brown for more than $3 million in damages stemming from a heated confrontation between the two singers in January.

The Pyramidshitmaker's relative, who filed a lawsuit in August against the Fine Chinasinger claiming Brown’s bodyguard violently beat him up when the two singers and their entourages got into a heated confrontation outside Westlake Recording Studio in Los Angeles in January, says he suffered a huge amount of physical and emotional pain as a result of the confrontation.

Duarte has submitted an itemised list of what he is seeking damages for in new court documents, obtained by gossip website TMZ.com, which includes $1 million for pain, suffering and inconvenience, and $1 million for emotional distress. He is also seeking $1 million for punitive damages and an additional $60 000 for medical expenses.

Brown, who is currently undergoing a court ordered 90-day stint at a live-in rehabilitation centre to focus on his anger issues, filed documents to counter-sue last month, in which the star, 24, claimed that Duarte provoked the fight by threatening to kill him.
He also accused Duarte of kicking and punching him, and insisted that he attempted to avoid the altercation "with the aggressive and hostile Mr. Duarte".
It was previously reported that Brown fled the scene straight after the fight, while Ocean stayed to speak to police officers.

The Sweet Lifehitmaker, 25, took to Twitter shortly after the brawl to say he was "jumped" by Brown and his hand had been badly injured but he later decided not to press charges.
He explained his decision at the time, writing: "I'll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. peace, albeit trite, is what I want in my short life. Peace."
