Lagos Plane Crash: Families Claim Corpses
Family members of those involved in the ill-fated Associated Airplane that crashed on October 3, 2013 in Lagos have started claiming corpses. The chartered aircraft was conveying the remains of former Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Agagu from Lagos to Ondo State.
Earlier, Daily Times reported that the Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) sample results of the victims of the plane crash arrived the country last week and corpses were ready for collection.
A source told Daily Times that as of Tuesday, the body of Tunji Okunsanya Jnr. had been taken from the morgue but that of Tunji Okunsanya Snr., the MIC Funerals boss, is still at the the Lekan Ogunsola Memorial House at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja.
Tunji Okunsanya Jnr. is the son of the MIC Funerals boss.
The source also disclosed that other family members have avail themselves to provide necessary information to enable them claim their corpses.
