Behold top 9 as Van Vicker, Rita Dominic crash out

Having seen the last 10, now the journey for the final five begins and what a dramatic way it has begun! Rita Dominic, who has been having a sort of floundering run in the quest has got to make a way for the last nine contestants to go on in the quest after failing to up her game in the last week outing. Also suffering the same fate is Van Vicker after being upstaged by Mike Ezuruonye and Odunlade Adekola. Both had fascinating weeks. Yet, the drama does not end there as biggest shockers unfold:

WOMEN

Stephanie Okereke-Linus: After months of playing the second fiddle to Tonto Dikeh, Stephanie has finally overtaken the diva. Though it might sound like a resounding victory but it is anything but a victory yet as the gap between the two is as tiny as it is unstable.

Tonto Dikeh: She has been having a fantastic run since the beginning even though she has always had Stephanie breathing down her neck. Maybe a moment of lethargy is what has cost her the first spot but nothing is definite yet, going by the see-saw game still going on between the two.

Ebube Nwagbo: Ebube has held on to the third spot with a bit of tenacity and fiery determination a bull will savour with envy. With a little push and a little luck, she just might be asking questions of the others in her front.

Yvonne Nelson: Yvonne must be battling very hard with every ounce of the wits about her but her position is continually under attacks from the duo of Angela and Colette. She holds on this week but the way things are shaping out she would need more than luck to hold out.

Colette Orji: Colette is beginning to look like an item that might overturn things the way she is coming along like a cyclone on a revenge mission. Her victim this week is Angela Okorie whom she shoved aside from 5th to 6th

Angela Okorie: She was the dark horse coming back to light. It is almost unbelievable that she was at a time being set aside for eviction. She was on 5th for several weeks until Colette got too hot to handle for her

Queeneth Hilbert: Queeneth too has overtaken Biodun Okeowo who enjoyed a brief stay in the 7th spot last week and week before. Queeneth might not be too fantastic but she has had a steady, consistent run that continues to keep her in the game.

Biodun Okeowo: She has been blowing hot and cold since the beginning, never looking neither a winner nor a loser but she has got her thing going. Whether her lukewarm run will get her anywhere remains to be seen.

Cynthia Agholor: Cynthia has remained in the game only because she has learnt to play the game with the ruthlessness it demands. She is certainly a player to watch because she seems to known the temperament of the game and she plays accordingly.

MEN:

Yul Edochie: Yul is beginning to take honour out of the men’s quest because he plays the game with such ease that seems to make a joke of all the contests. Even though Ramsey and Benson aren’t exactly pushovers the guy continues to make them look like they aren’t trying hard enough, or are they?

Ramsey Nouah: This top actor will need to do more than just sitting around, hoping the game will cheer him on. With more outing like he has been having the last couple of weeks, Benson might just be given the right of way he has been honking for.

Benson Okonkwo: Benson continues to push but the harder he pushes the more Uti seems to be enjoying the sight of him. He is still doing fine at third and probably having a look into second. With a couple of weeks to go, anything can happen.

Uti Nwachukwu: Uti has been asking questions for sometime now and right now he seems to be getting some answers. He took advantage of Pope’s lacklustre week to upstage him and here he is on 4th and looking to do more damage.

Pope Odowondo: Pope was having a bit of a wrestle with Benson until Benson got other ideas, leaving Pope behind and now it seems it’s not only Benson that will leave him, even Uti has his pound of flesh. He is 5th now.

Odunlade Adekola: It was a huge week for Odunlade Adekola who moved three places to clinch the 6th place, taking off Van Vicker, Ali Nuhu and Frank Artus. He has been blowing hot and cold too but this week was his hottest to date.

Frank Artus: Now, here is a guy who lost it all by doing too little too soon. He was on the third spot at a time and when there were high hopes for the Ghanaian actor, the downturn slide began and it doesn’t look like he has recovered from the shock even though he is the only Ghanaian on the list. 7th place.

Ali Nuhu: Ali lost his footing from 7th to 8th but basically due to the upsurge from a couple of acts who got too furious this week to pip some people.

Mike Ezuruonye: For Mike, it has become a never ending story of eviction that never happened. He was the last man of the last ten yet he survived. Now is the last nine man expected to go out next week. It will be interesting to see if he has more lives.
